Bloblive!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 11:06 pm

Sounds scary (and was a little nerve-wracking), but is actually a great event!  And at this week’s BlobLive Open Mic Philly, Nicole spoke about Indigenous Pitch.

She told the audience about our programs.  Then, mentioned that our problem was, we simply couldn’t staff or fund all of the programs we have been asked to provide and want to provide!  The group of small-business owners, non-profit founders, entrepreneurs of all types gave great feedback and ideas!  Thank you both in-house commenters, and those on the live Twitter feed!

KYW also did an interview with Nicole, so hopefully that will be on the air soon!

An Easy (and Free!) Way to Support Indigenous Pitch!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Tags: — admin @ 5:22 pm
What if Indigenous Pitch earned a donation every time you searched the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of every purchase you made online went to support our cause? Well, now it can!

GoodSearch.com is a new Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, iTunes, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy’s and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting your favorite cause.   It takes just a few seconds to go to www.goodshop.com, select your charity, and then click through to your favorite store and shop as usual.

Also, Yahoo has teamed up with GoodShop’s sister site, GoodSearch.com, to donate about a penny to Indigenous Pitch every time you search the web. This is totally free as the money comes from advertisers. Just go towww.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Indigenous Pitch as the charity you want to support. To give you a sense of how the money can add up, the ASPCA has already earned more than $23,000!  To make it easy to remember to use GoodSearch.com, you can download the toolbar or set it to be your homepage.

And, be sure to spread the word!  Please tell your friends about GoodShop and GoodSearch today. They’ve been featured in the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Oprah Magazine and more.

Indigenous Pitch and the children we serve appreciate your support!
