How $10 Can Make a Difference! Or, It’s Time for March Goodness!

Indigenous Pitch Dance Collective Selected for Razoo’s March Goodness 2010 NIT Tournament

Indigenous Pitch Dance Collective has been selected to participate in the 2010 March Goodness NIT Tournament held by Razoo.  This is yet another example of being recognized by outside organizations for the great work we are doing with traumatized children.  We are 1 of 32 small non-profits, nationwide, to be accepted for this contest.

We are really excited to participate in the NIT Tournament.  IPDC is providing camps in Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Haiti within the next five months!  We have a critical need, and now we have another channel for raising awareness and funds.  We are asking you to support us with $10 and telling 10 friends.

As the recent Red Cross campaign for Haiti has shown, $10 really can make a difference.  We are asking you to make a difference in the lives of children affected by natural and/or socio-economic disaster.  If you can, please consider making a larger donation that will sponsor a child for a full week of camp in Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Haiti.

The Tournament competition begins March 15th and ends March 30th.  Donors may visit the Indigenous Pitch Dance Collective Project Page at http://www.razoo.com/story/Mg2010-Razoo-Nit-Indigenous-Pitch-Dance-Collective.  Make sure to make your donations only on the MG2010 page, which you can access via the right sidebar.  Just wait until 3/15!  But before 3/31!  Don’t worry, we’ll remind you! ;)

Last year’s March Goodness raised almost $200,000 for the selected organizations and award over $20,000 in prizes.  This year’s prizes will be over $50,000.  According to Razoo, “The RazooNIT is a one-round competition; the 32 competing non-profits will be ranked by unique donors only.”  Donors can donate a minimum of $10 to be counted for a cause.

So, get ready for some March Goodness!
