A few memorable moments at camp(there were so many):
AT SECOND ZION:
-End of the performance, the whole camp including teachers singing hold my hand by Micheal Jackson! (well, half lip singing it).
-Dominick laughing hysterically to the point of tears at young camper Barry, who will grow up to be a comedian. Barry also wore Dom’s fitted hat backwards for most of the camp.
-Little Chloe reading here life story that she wrote in Lauren’s Journaling class for the beginning of the show. “I was born in 2004. The End.”
-Peeking in on Theresa’s Ballet class (a group of older boys and girls) in complete silence and intensely focused. AMAZING!
-Steph’s Modern class performing here choreography and REALLY getting it!
-Jason and his ROBOT BOYS
-Art projects with collages of superwomen and men
Woodland(only 2 days of camp so far)
-Watching our group of Junior assistants showing amazing leadership skills!
-Over 30 kids from ages 6 to 9 working together creating tiny pieces of choreography and all of them memorizing it and performing it in Lisa’s Improv and game class.
-Pam and Michael’s morning Theme Skits about Respect!! Love it!
-The familiar faces from previous years.
-Seeing campers from Second Zion making the hike to Woodland for a second week!
More to come.
